Born from a Dream, Rooted in Red Bud
1860 Public House opened in July 2023 inside Red Bud's landmark Opera House — a scratch kitchen and gathering place built on family recipes and local pride.
What our guests are saying
Rode bikes here today. We had the Triple Decker Club and the Brunch Burger. The food was excellent, service was awesome and the atmosphere sitting outside is always entertaining. Glad to see this place opened back up. Definitely worth the 2 hr ride and we WILL be back!!!!!

The only thing better than the food was the staff. The bartender was amazing with a warm and inviting presence that can make anyone feel at home in this local gem. The rich history and bold flavors can't be beat. Thanks a million to the staff for a late night coffee , fantastic food, and great conversations.

Everything was extremely good. I had one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time (The Goat). The Reuben was fantastic as well. The staff is extremely friendly and charismatic. The restaurant is in a beautiful building and the atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming.
